About the Conference

In recent times, a significant number of women in India have started their own enterprises offering innovative products and services that address sustainable development goals of this century.

This conference aims to put innovation by women entrepreneurs at the core of inquiry; providing a platform to the practitioners, academicians and students to examine how innovation inspires women to start, spawn and scale their businesses in the marketplace. The objective is to bring forth research insights on the gender analysis of innovation through multiple theoretical lenses.

A distinguished panel of speakers representing different segments of the ecosystem for entrepreneurship, would share their experience through plenary talks and panel discussions. The expected outcomes are multi-fold, for academicians a new knowledge repository, for practising women entrepreneurs future possibilities on venture funding, inputs on talent acquisition challenges (if any), gender and its relation to incremental and radical innovations in entrepreneurial ventures, for students an understanding of the gender based thinking lens in organizational and entrepreneurial settings.
